Bendix Brake Pads

With quality that is unmatched Bendix brake pads are backed by over 80 years of experience.

Bendix covers all types of vehicles from domestic to imports and SUV’s and fleets. If it has an engine and rolls on wheels then you can bet Bendix brake pads will be a sure fit.  The research and development team at Bendix has created new formulations for their semi-metallic brake pads that reduce brake noise and dust better than the previous generation of brake pads. Due to this recent formulation breakthrough there is been a reduction in customers returning after brake work has been performed on their vehicle.

Friction Premium Brake Pads

Bendix has brakes for just about all types of vehicles. Their pads are among the best brake pads in the industry with superior quality and workmanship. With their premium brake pads which are application specific and unmatched in technical service, it’s no wonder they have become an industry leader with unparallel performance and value combination.

JURID brake pads are specifically designed for the following vehicles.

  • Mercedes Benz
  • BMW
  • Jaguar
  • Volvo
  • Audi
  • Volkswagen

Since 1914 JURID products have been in the cars worldwide and in Europe alone one in three cars use JURID brake pads. This is a true testament to their quality and research and development.

With the production of disc brakes pads and drum brake linings numbering well over 80 million per year, Bendix has catapulted itself to one of the three biggest manufacturers of friction material in Europe. Most companies don’t’ have close to 100 years of experience under their belt and don’t hold certifications for some of the most prestigious and international brands, not to mentions that JURID brand also develops and produces prototypes for the world largest car manufacturers.

Bendix CQ ceramic brake pads have a special ceramic technology called NAO that help the brake pads meet the stringent and specific original equipment vehicle standards. The CQ brake pads cover a wide range of domestic and import vehicle applications. Because of the rising popularity of ceramics in new and pre-owned vehicles the value of the NAO ceramic technology has been there to meet that rising trend by providing the special ceramic technology in varying capacities.

Behind the Technology

Developing friction formulas for today’s vehicles gives Bendix the edge in the OE aftermarket. Their superior ceramic brake pads offer less dust, better stopping power and greater breaking performance without the mild grinding sound.

By minimizing brake dust, vibration and harshness performance and reduced noise the NAO technology of their ceramic brake pads have been the choice by OE vehicle manufacturers.

With the popularity of alloy wheels ever on the rise it’s no wonder why dust reduction has become a key element in the advancement of ceramic brake pads in the OE market. With each generation of brake pads Bendix looks to decrease dust output. This has led to the Design of Experiment (DOE) technique. This technique uses raw materials specifically selected by the R and D team to reduce rotor wear which is the main cause of brake dust. By using a combination of these raw materials in just the right amounts, a low brake dust pad can be produced.

Not only is brake dust a challenge but so is the noise. Who does research in noise technology? Bendix does. That’s who. All moving parts of the car make some noise caused by vibration and brake pads are no exception. By studying how the brake pad is vibrating using a computer program and then designing an accurate computer model the engineers are able to manipulate that computer model to minimize the decibel output of the brake pad. Cool stuff huh!
